Not even I want to eat cake on New Year's Eve. I want lots of booze and a little glam metal. So I've put the fork down and made a cocktail in honour of a lady who knew how to knock the drinks back, Lita Ford.

Shot of Poison
(Makes 2)- dark rum 4 shots
- cherry syrup 2 tbsp
- cherry cola 1 bottle
- glace cherries to decorate
- Put a large handful of ice cubes in two glasses, pour over the rum, cherry syrup and cherry cola. Add a handful of glace cherries, top with more ice and decorate with more glace cherries.
